Go Africa Academy ("Go Africa Academy," the "Platform," "we," "us," or "our") is an educational platform for professional-development courses operated by Vantage Point Solutions. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
01 About Go Africa Academy
Go Africa Academy is an online educational platform for professional development, offering courses, lessons, quizzes, and completion certificates across a range of vocational, technical, business, agricultural, health, and technology subjects. It is built and operated by Vantage Point Solutions Ltd, a technology and professional-skills training company, to help learners across Zambia, Africa, and beyond build practical, career-relevant skills.
02 Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account, ticking the box that says you agree to these Terms, or otherwise accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
If you are using Go Africa Academy on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
03 Eligibility & Your Account
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
- Your account is personal to you. You may not share, sell, or transfer it, or allow others to use it to access paid content they haven't subscribed to.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
04 Subscriptions & Course Access
Go Africa Academy offers different subscription tiers, each of which unlocks a specific set of courses:

Your subscription is for access to the Platform and the courses within your chosen tier. Each paid tier unlocks only the courses belonging to that tier — subscribing does not grant ownership of any course, video, material, or download, only the right to access them during your active subscription period.
05 Payments & No-Refund Policy
Paid subscriptions are billed as a single, one-time payment for the 6-month access period. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Selar; we do not store your full card or mobile-money details (see our Privacy Policy).
Prices are shown in your local currency where available and may change from time to time; any change will apply to future purchases, not to a subscription you have already paid for.
06 Renewal After Your 6 Months
Paid subscriptions do not automatically renew or auto-charge your payment method. When your 6-month access period ends, your access to that tier's courses will pause. To continue learning, you will need to renew your subscription by making a new payment. This gives you a fresh 6-month access period. We may send you a reminder as your period nears its end, but it is your responsibility to renew if you wish to keep your access.
07 Evolving & Improving Course Content
Go Africa Academy is a living platform. Course content is developed and improved over time. This means we may, at our discretion and without prior notice:
- Add, update, expand, reorganise, or retire courses and lessons.
- Revise text, quizzes, examples, study notes, and other learning materials to keep them accurate and relevant.
- Update the design and format of certificates and other files that can be generated or downloaded from the Platform.
- Replace or update embedded videos and supporting resources.
We make these changes to keep the platform current and to improve your learning experience. We do not guarantee that any specific course, lesson, video, certificate design, or downloadable file will remain available or unchanged for the duration of your subscription.
08 Embedded Videos
To reinforce lesson content, Go Africa Academy uses embedded YouTube videos. Some of these videos are not owned or produced by Vantage Point Solutions — they are embedded from YouTube and remain the property of their respective creators and owners.
- Embedded videos are included to support and enrich the educational material.
- Their availability is controlled by YouTube and the original uploaders. A video may be moved, made private, or removed by its owner at any time, which is outside our control.
- Your use of embedded YouTube content is also subject to YouTube's own terms of service.
09 Intellectual Property
The Go Africa Academy platform, its original course content, branding, logos, certificate designs, and software are owned by Vantage Point Solutions and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Where courses reference other entities, brands, products, tools, institutions, or systems, those references are made for educational and illustrative purposes only. Each such entity owns its own name, trademarks, and copyright, and their inclusion does not imply any partnership, endorsement, or ownership by us.
You may use the Platform and its content for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission, except where the law expressly allows it.
10 No Affiliation With Other Companies
Go Africa Academy is an educational platform operated solely by Vantage Point Solutions and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any other company or organisation. Any mention of, reference to, or example using another company, brand, institution, product, or system anywhere on the Platform is included strictly for educational purposes. All such names, trademarks, and materials remain the property of their respective owners, who retain their own copyright and rights.
11 Certificates of Completion
When you complete the requirements of a course, Go Africa Academy issues a certificate of completion bearing your name, the course title, the issue date, and a unique certificate identifier. These certificates recognise your completion of course activities on the Platform. Certificate designs and formats may be updated or improved over time (see Section 07). Certificates are provided for personal and professional recognition of learning and are not accredited academic qualifications unless expressly stated.
12 Referral Program
Go Africa Academy may offer a referral program in which you can share your unique referral code and earn rewards or commissions when others sign up or subscribe using it. We may set, vary, or discontinue the terms of this program, and we reserve the right to withhold rewards obtained through fraud, abuse, self-referral, or any breach of these Terms.
13 Acceptable Use
When using Go Africa Academy, you agree not to:
- Share your account or paid content with people who have not subscribed.
- Copy, download (except where a feature is expressly provided), scrape, or redistribute course content.
- Attempt to bypass tier restrictions, security, or access controls.
- Upload or transmit anything unlawful, harmful, or infringing on others' rights.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its systems.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
14 Disclaimers
Go Africa Academy and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis for educational purposes. While we work hard to keep content accurate, useful, and current, we do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every course, video, or download will always be available, or that the content will meet any specific outcome, certification, or career result. Your learning outcomes depend on many factors, including your own effort and circumstances.
15 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vantage Point Solutions and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, including loss of access to a course, video, or download, or loss of data. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid us for your current subscription period.
16 Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity. You may stop using Go Africa Academy or request account deletion at any time. Because subscription payments are non-refundable, ending your use of the Platform does not entitle you to a refund of any amount already paid. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
17 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, our services, or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform. Your continued use of Go Africa Academy after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
18 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, where Vantage Point Solutions is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of Zambia, unless applicable law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
